Who I am

The LC Edit is a wedding content business run by Lauran Connolly, based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. I am the controller of your personal data under UK GDPR. You can contact me at thelcedit1@gmail.com.

What I collect

  • Enquiry form: your names, email address, wedding date, venue and message.
  • Instagram messages: if you DM me, Meta holds the conversation. Meta's own privacy policy applies to that.
  • Email: if you email me, I hold your message and address.
  • Technical data: my hosting provider, Netlify, processes your IP address and basic device information when you visit, to deliver the site and keep it secure.

This site has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It sets no cookies. Fonts and videos are hosted on the site itself, and nothing from Instagram or TikTok is embedded. If you follow a link to Instagram or TikTok, their policies apply.

Who sees it

  • Netlify hosts this site and receives form submissions. It is based in the US. Its spam filter, Akismet, also checks each submission.
  • Google provides my email.
  • Meta provides Instagram.

These providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use approved safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses with the UK addendum. I may share data if the law requires it.

How long I keep it

Form submissions are held in my Netlify account until I delete them, and I also receive each one by email.

  • Enquiries that don't lead to a booking: I delete them within 12 months.
  • Form submissions held by Netlify: I delete them within 30 days, once I've replied.
  • Clients who book: I keep contact and booking records for 6 years for tax and accounting.

Footage you appear in

If you appear in my footage at a wedding, I only share it with the couple's agreement. If you'd like a clip removed, contact me and I'll take it down.
